What is Western Regional Conference all about?
AOSA's Western Regional Conference (WRC) is an annual event that complements the scholastic goals of optometry students in the western United States through educational keynotes, pop-ups, as well as professional and social networking opportunities. WRC 2019 welcomes students from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, the UC Berkeley School of Optometry, the Western University College of Optometry, the Pacific University College of Optometry, and the Arizona College of Optometry. Undergraduate pre-optometry organizations in the area are also invited to attend. Students have a rare opportunity to visit SCCO to hear from different leaders in the profession, learn about current products on the market, and network with future Colleagues. Revenue generated through this conference is used to directly benefit students by funding the American Optometric Student Association Chapter at SCCO.
